In a demonstration of the premium placed on safety within the organisation, across its touchpoints and projects, Westfield Energy Resources Limited on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, awarded members of staff that distinguished themselves in the course of the year 2020. 

Representatives of Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL); Westfield Energy Resources Limited (WERL); Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) and Hommaston Limited on Monday, June 29, 2020 held the close-out ceremony of the Human Capacity Development (HCD) phase of the Detailed Engineering Design (DED) of Escravos Tanks 4, 6, 7 & 12 Repair and Upgrade Project. The ceremony was held virtually on Zoom, but some trainees were physically present.

In compliance with the provisions of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act (NOGICD) 2010 on Human Capital Development and in line with the directives of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), ten (10) Nigerian Engineering graduates were given technical on-the-job training to prepare them for a robust career in the Oil and Gas industry. The training was carried out by Westfield and facilitated by Hommaston Limited.

The technical kick-off for the Detailed Engineering Design (DED) for the Escravos Aviation Fuel Dispensing Upgrade Project was held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at the premises of Westfield Energy Resources Limited in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.

The event had in attendance representatives of Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL); and Westfield Energy Resources Limited (WERL).

As part of its Southern Swamp Associated Gas Solutions (SSAGS), Shell Production and Development Company (SPDC) has contracted Westfield for the Community Electrification Interdependency Project (CEIP) of the Tunu Node. 

The SSAGS covers 4 nodes namely, Ogbotobo, Tunu, Beneside, and Opukushi. 

The CEIP forms part of SPDC’s Community Trust Support (CTS) initiative and activity.
