16 Apr Westfield Partners COOEC for Offshore Projects in Nigeria
Westfield Energy Resources Limited has entered into partnership agreement with China Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd (COOEC), one of the largest EPCI contractors for offshore oil and gas industry in Asia.
The partnership is to further boost Westfield’s capacity to undertake projects of any magnitude in Nigeria and across Africa.
Under the partnership, COOEC is to provide key technical resources such as construction equipment, systems, materials and tools necessary while Westfield provides Engineering & Project Management resources, procurement services and any other technical resources required.
Speaking on the partnership, the MD/CEO of Westfield Energy Resources Limited, Mr. Henry Okolie-Aboh said that the partnership has once again demonstrated Westfield as a strategic partner of first choice for local and international clients.
“This partnership among many others is in line with our vision to be the leading provider of integrated energy solutions in Africa”, said Mr. Okolie-Aboh.
COOEC is a listed company controlled by China National Offshore Oil Corporation. It is as a large-scale general contracting company, renowned for integrating oil, natural gas exploitation engineering design, onshore manufacturing and offshore installation, commissioning, maintenance, LNG and refinery into a whole.
