28 Nov Westfield Transitions to ISO 9001:2015

Westfield Energy Resources Limited achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification in procurement services in April 2017 and immediately commenced the prerequisites implementation towards transitioning to the new standard (ISO 9001:2015) before the September 2018 deadline. 

The new requirements in the standards such as the Organizational Context, Interested Parties, Quality Objectives & plans to achieve them, Organizational Knowledge, Competence etc. were determined and documented. Westfield quality manual and quality policy were also reviewed to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and were both approved by the top management of Westfield to demonstrate commitment of the company to the new standard.

Total E&P Nigeria Limited recently engaged Westfield Energy Resources Limited for the implementation of lightning and earthing protection correction works at their facility in Owaza and Rumuji. The facility had earlier suffered system failure thus leading to its unscheduled shut down.
